Electro brass band I Rio de Janeiro (BR)

With an authorial repertoire full of textures, effects, and drop, TechnoBrass mixes the sound of Rio’s brass bands with the pulse of electronic beats, creating an explosive hybrid atmosphere. Formed by 7 musicians from the jazz scene and the alternative carnival of Rio de Janeiro, the group has participated in festivals such as Universo Paralello (BA), Psicodália (SC), Rock the Mountain (RJ) and has been gaining more and more followers with its TechnoBrass LIVE party. The event, created and produced by the band to promote the launch of new songs, pulls in a crowd of more than 1,500 people.

In 2019 and 2022 the band toured Europe, where they performed at festivals such as Bout du Monde (world music), Château Perché (electro), and Bucht der Traumer (DE) in addition to the renowned jazz club New Morning, in Paris. With a second EP to come in october 2023, TechnoBrass is emerging on the independent scene as “one of the most creative instrumentalgroups active in Brazil”, according to the blog TMDQA.

The third international tour was on summer 2023 with shows not only in Paris (FR) but also at Fusion Festival (DE), Moyn Festival (DE) and at the Paléo Festival (CH).
