KKC Orchestra and Collectif Passatges en Coserans present a new creative and artistic collaboration. It’s a meeting of hip-hop and traditional music, drawing on the melodies and riffs of our musical heritage to create a unique form of music that looks to the past and the future, but is deeply rooted in the present.
PASSATGES EN COSERANS
The ‘Passatges’ project, which explores traditional arts and contemporary music in the Couserans region, is the result of a desire to assert the cultural ambitions of the people involved in the Couserans region. They have defined a unique collective project that draws on the skills, energies and specificities of each of them, and that covers three main areas of action: training for local people and musicians, year-round dissemination of musical performances, and professional artistic creation.
KKC ORCHESTRA
Think and make people dance! For more than 10 years now, the group has been chiselling out this formula on the basis of variable geometry, of a desire: shapes that they draw, standards that they decide. A veritable craft of sound, their music starts from the heart and speaks to your heart, with its outbursts of hope, sweat, beauty, restrained rage, staining riffs, love in spades, and handmade work. And always, proof that to create is to resist!
